Lunch between Brockton and Wrentham (4/18)

Quick help needed please for tomorrow 4/18.

Planning to visit the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton tomorrow, followed by some retail therapy at Wrentham. We need a place for lunch in between. I suppose we can eat at the museum cafe at Fuller Craft, but just wondering if there are other suggestions? I never venture to Brockton so I haven't got a clue. Did a search here and saw rec's for Cape Cod Cafe but we aren't really into pizzas.

Looking at the map, it looks like we will pass through Stoughton and Sharon and Mansfield? Any good places there? We like all sorts of food except ... well... pizzas.

  1. I like Jimmy's Pub in Mansfield. In fact, I had dinner there last night. Been going there for years and the food is always good, with a fun atmosphere (I prefer to eat in the bar area because it's lively and upbeat). I love their Monte Cristo sandwich, but I don't order it very often since it is such a decadent treat. If you like Chinese, Cheng Du (also in Mansfield) is nice.

    1. The CBS Scene is an interesting new place at Foxboro Stadium's Shopping area owned by CBS TV. It's very unique with all of the tv screens and tv memorabillia. Each booth gets it's own flatscreen and you can watch anything from Letterman to I love Lucy episodes. I got a swiss.mushroom burger and fries and my friend got the scallop roll and fries. It was all very good...especially the perfectly crisp shoestring fries. Surprisingly, it was reasonably priced too. They also have pizza as well as steak tips, entree salads, etc. It's right on Route 1 on the way down to Wrentham.
