Posh's website Hokey???(PHX)

drewb123 Apr 17, 2009 04:17 PM

Has anyone checked out Posh's website? I find it kind of hokey? very amateaur. like 2 kids in the kitchen playing chef.

I have heard nice reviews on this board and really wanted to get a sense of price/menu items and so forth, the website gives you NOTHING!! I find that irritating. If you have any way of getting a a menu posted that would be great!

Given that the concept involves menu-less, day-to-day improvisation, I'm not sure how anyone here could produce a menu.

Maybe a call to the restaurant will yield more detailed information.

There is great review after great review. I guess I didn't get that it was improv.

as far as i know, the only thing additional is foie gras for $15. the number of courses is what drives the price.

Wife and I had a wonderful meal at Posh this evening. Definitely shades of Binkley's or L'Atelier, although with a Japanese flair, rather than French. The concept is going to be a bit of a hard sell with there being no set menu (note: you can alter the menu to remove things you will not or cannot eat). i am hoping the restaurant gets some more love from the hounds here in the phoenix area because the chef and his team are making some great food.

In regards to the website, they could definitely give you a better idea of some of the recent items served, as well as publish their wine list. It would be nice to also have some bios on the staff.
