Spanish paprika (pimenton) in Tucson?
Where can I buy Spanish paprika (pimenton) and similar spices in the Tucson area?
If not Tucson, how about Phoenix?
Many thanks for any tips or suggestions!

For regular/sweet Spanish smoked paprika, I get mine from Penzeys - there's one in Scottsdale.
For agridulce and picante pimenton (and other Spanish ingredients, including fresh pimientos de Padrón when in season), I order from LaTienda. Although this year, I must just raid Hohokam's garden for Padrón peppers ; )

17th St Market carries pimenton, saffron, aleppo pepper, sometimes has Spanish chorizo.

They don't show them on their website, but it'd still probably worth calling Flavorbank to double-check.

Santa Cruz Chili & Spice Co., down at Carmen, has a wide variety of chiles and would also probably be worth a call. Or better yet, take a drive down just to enjoy the area in the spring.

I was able to find "Mas Portell" brand Pimenton de la Vera imported smoked Spanish paprika in three "heat" levels (sweet, bittersweet and hot) at AJ's Fine Foods in Tucson at the La Encantada shopping center on the northwest corner of Skyline Drive and Campbell.
The 17th St Market did not have smoked Spanish pimenton when I checked at the beginning of May.
