I need a low-key place with good food in the 20s or 30s for dinner with a colleague on a Sunday night. I was thinking Via Emilia but they're closed on Suns. Any other ideas?

If French works for you, I highly recommend Bar Breton, on 5th Av., b/t 28th & 29th Sts. Delicious food (galettes are the specialty), friendly service, and very pleasant atmospherics.

Our current favorite Greek restaurant is Kellari's Parea, on 20th St., b/t Park Av. S. & B'way. Tasty mezzes, superb grilled whole fish, and first-rate moussaka. Excellent service and very attractive decor.

Sunday is Greek Orthodox Easter, so Kellari will be packed. Make a reservation if you plan to go.

I've enjoyed happy hour snacks and drinks and a lovely lunch at ilili.
