I've been living in NoVa for a while now, but still havent really made the most of DC in the ways of going out to eat and stuff. My family is in town for a few days and I'm looking for a somewhat moderately priced place ($10-25 entree) around Midtown or Chinatown to take them. Dupont area would be solid too. I say these areas only because its part of the city i have yet to take them around. Any recommendations would be great but keep in mind that one of the attendees is only 10. Thanks!

    lots of choices
Penns quarter restaurants to fit the bill include DC chophouse, Jaleo, cafe atlantico, green turtle, clydes, matchstix

Chinatown restaurants include Eat First and Chinatown express

There are lots of replies for this question, try searching for Penn Quarter (the area next to Chinatown) and Dupont Circle.
