Tonight's Hell's Kitchen

Nobody wants to get it started, but c'mon. How is Robert? You know we all give a damn. Somebody has to know his status.
Other than that, it's Danny and Paula. Edge to Paula.
Yes, it's camp. Yes, it's a little over the top.
It's better than watching the news.

I do feel sorry for Robert; while he's an ass a lot of the times (the comments to the women at the Borgata was a bit more than I cared to listen to), when he was "on" he was definitely on. If this show was taped back in 2007, I wonder if he's lost any weight - would that contribute to his pericarditis?

I *knew* because Robert was gone, they wouldn't get rid of Ben. I also knew he'd be on the chopping block as he got a lot of face time with the confessional camera, saying how GOOD he was.

Bummed that Danny didn't win the first challenge....why the hell did Andrea win - Danny's right - she didn't COOK anything!

I do think Danny and Paula are the best....I'm giving the edge to Danny, but I think it can go either way. Ben's just too full of himself, and Andrea was a trainwreck about 3 episodes ago and should have been out of there. But it's got to be debilitating to her to listen to Danny, Paula, and Ben all say by default, they all would put her up if she didn't have immunity.

      He has lost some weight.

      http://www.buddytv.com/articles/hells...

"Since leaving the show, his heart condition has improved, and he has begun working hard to get his weight under control. Working with a personal trainer, he has lost 55 pounds so far, and is getting ready to undergo gastric bypass surgery. He has also gotten married (he postponed his wedding to appear on the show) and went on a honeymoon to the Caribbean, where he enjoyed a lot more recognition as well."

Good to hear he's doing better....and looks like he's opening a restaurant with Seth (elim. 4th episode).

Really? I guess Seth's got the dough?

Oh gosh, I just remembered who Seth was (like how could I forget?)! Yeah, good luck with that...

Maybe they could get Ben to join in and call the place "Three blind mice" or "trois petites cochons".........Whoops that won't work. ;-)

I think Paula wins it. Ben said his signature dish is going to top all other restaurants' in Borgata. There's a fine line between confidence and delusion. In his case, I think he's completely deluded.

Ben is rather out there, isn't he? I wonder if they give those people suggestions about what to say in the interviews so that they can have the personality the show's producers want them to have. "OK, you'll be the smug one, you'll be the beeyotch, you'll be the underdog..."

And they asked Lacey to be all of those combined????? She did good!

Ben has always been too sure of himself. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves before Andrea.

Poor Robert. Felt bad for the guy but well, health comes first.

Okay, WTH is Andrea still in it??? She was just a huge trainwreck in the kitchen tonight. I don't care if Gordon is a man of his word, I wanted him to get rid of her! But I kind of knew no one else was going home once Robert had to drop out.

I agree, it's really between Danny & Paula. I think I like Paula more.

And wait, at dinner in AC, did Andrea actually say "plebes" when she was asking about HR and hiring? Or did my ears just shut down like they normally do when her and Ben talk?

His name is Robert Hesse and I did some googling but didn't find much. He is senior chef at a restaurant called Quogue or Q something that had/has gotten some good reviews, located in Long Island, and he married his fiancee after taping the show (in 2007! I had no clue they taped that long ago)

He was my favorite as well. I'm thinking the long haired guy will win, but Ramsey does hate long hair.
