Where is my Coca-Cola Black???

I haven't seen Coca-Cola Black in quite awhile (for those of you that don't know, it's a Coke/coffee fusion). It's delicious. Kind of a sweeter Manhattan Special. Has anyone seen it ANYWHERE??? (99 Cent store, Costco, etc??)

  1. DIscontinued. Very sad, I know, you may be able to find someone who still has stock if you search online.

Why would they discontinue something so wonderful???

    2. May not help much, but it's only discontinued in the U.S. Canada's still got it, supposedly, as well as a few countries in Europe.

Perhaps an annual road trip to Vancouver?

The US version was very different from the versions sold in Canada and France (which were also different from each other). The only similarity from market to market seems to have been the name. I didn't like the Canadian version at all.

The Canadian version tasted like sweetened coffee and Coke syrup mixed together. It was pretty sickening, but I haven't seen it anywhere in a fairly long time (haven't been on the lookout though).

I'm pretty sure it's gone from Canada as well. I remember my local grocer dumping the stuff at dirt-cheap prices in 2007. Not sure if it actually survived past that. (The Wikipedia for it says it was discontinued in 2008?)

Yeah it was discontinued from Canada as well... I went on a mad hunt for it over the past little while and couldn't find it anywhere; sadly most of the store owners I spoke with didn't even know what I was talking about. :(

        3. It was expensive, which didn't help its chances for success either. But I liked it, and everyone I got to sample it LOVED it.
