Vinny's At Night
Ate at Vinny's yesterday and it was good as usual. On a Wednesday evening, it was not all that busy.
The real news here is that now Vinny's is open for lunch as well (only Mon-Fri). Looked at the menu and it had a selection of the favorites at very reasonable prices. Also, they now have a web site where their menus are available:

The convenience store section seems to have become more of a deli now as well.

Dontcha just love how the place has three different names in one post (all of which are correct of course)? Gotta love Boston.

I never heard "Vinny's on Broadway". What, are they tryin' to big-time us?
I only ever knew Vinny's Superette (the spa/deli) and Vinny's at Night (the restaurant in the back and downstairs).

Nope, Lil Vinny's is still just Lil Vinny's. It's on Medford Street.
Vinny's is Vinny's at Night is Vinny's Superette is Vinny's on Broadway. Where's Gertrude Stein when you need her?

No Lil Vinny's and Vinny's at Night (or On Broadway, or Broaway Walking at Night, whatever they'd like to call themselves) are different establishments, but both great homestyle Italian places.

I believe Lil Vinny is the nephew of "Vinny's at Night" Vinny. They might use the same gravy recipe, too.
I like them both, but Lil Vinny's atmosphere is nicer; I think I prefer the more humble setting at Vinny's at Night.

Fecalface wants to shout out the goodness of the Italian sub at the deli counter. Imported cold cuts, fresh produce...somehow these guys get the best tomatoes year round. Fecal doesn't even wanna know, and if he did he's no snitch.
