Does anyone know where I can find garlic fries? I've been craving these ever since I moved to NYC from the SF Bay Area.

La Rural, an Argentinian steakhouse at Amsterdam between 97th and 98th, has garlic fries that are almost always piping hot and loaded down with garlic and parsley.

I'm not familiar with the phenomenon of garlic fries (and would love a description) but I've had great fries covered in garlic at a couple of the Russian restaurants along the boardwalk in Brighton Beach.

If you like baseball, you can find them at Yankee Stadium.

Thanks everyone! I'll check these places out! I'm sure the ones at Yankee Stadium are seriously the real deal!

The garlic fries at Yankee Stadium are delicious, but you can get amazing garlic fries from Trader Joe's! The fries themselves are crispy and delicious, and the packet of garlic (butter? oil?) is chunky and absolutely amazing. I've always got some in the house. I wish they sold the garlic topping separately, I'd put it on EVERYTHING!
