Great breakfast at Mariner's cove in brielle

What a wonderful breakfast we always have at Mariner's cove in brielle. It's a great, kitchy, family run place with fabulous food and great service. Many people have the OVERSIZED omlettes, But we always have the yummy pumpkin pancakes, they are just delish !!! Be prepared to wait on the weekends, but it's worth it.

Stopped in here for a late breakfast/early lunch.
Tried Benny Cakes which is Eggs Benedict over German Pancakes.
Gotta love a place that serves Potatoes on the side with your potato pancakes.
Glad I was able to experience breakfast here!
It was enough food for 2 or 3 people!
Very kind people!

Anything you order here is enough for 2 people, yet the employees are always very sweet and it is a great breakfast-lunch. Even the grilled cheese w/bacon and tomato could probably serve 3.

I have to disagree with you on Mariner's Cove. They throw alot of food at you for cheap prices but I felt the quality and preparation were below standard. Too much food and too little taste. Really good, innovative breakfast at the In Between Cafe in Red Bank, albeit a little pricey, but worth it. French Toast the best I ever tasted and their California Omlette is just absolutely delicious with fresh spinach, fresh avocado, sun dried tomaties and jack cheese. Wonderfully prepared and very tasty.

Thank you for the tip about the Between cafe in red bank !!! We will give it a try for sure. Can you tell me if there is a long wait on the weekends? The only thing we ever eat at the Mariners Cove are the pumpkin pancakes stuffed with cream cheese and they are a normal size portion and just delish. I agree that In between is a truly fantastic but Mariner's Cove is also a great breakfast joint in its own special way. Is their food as gourmet and refined as In Between? No, but it's a diner type breakfast joint that serves up great fare.

Someone mentioned Amy's before - unless something's changed recently Amys has slightly worse food and far worse service than the cove, IMO.

Oh and Frankie - I love those pumpkin pancakes too :)

I haven't been there in maybe 15 years. I am GLAD to hear they're still good. But, gand!, now I've gotta amke time to schlep myself there - got my juices flowing. (Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out!)

It' s well worth the schep !!!! We LOVE the pumpkin pancakes stuffed with cream cheese and all the waitresses are always so nice and sweet. They still dress up around halloween time.
