New Hood 25th & 3rd-Need some suggestions

I just moved to a new apt on 25th & 3rd. I used to live in the area so I'm fairly familiar with it but it's been a while, we know things change fast in the NYC food world. I need some guidance on where to eat, shop and deliver in from. I am looking for all cuisines and price ranges.

Some things I already know:
D' Agostino
Whole Foods & TJ in Union Square are a short walk/subway ride
Inoteca
Ziggiz burrrito
Umi no aji for cheap but ok sushi delivery

Thanks CH!!

    For Delivery:

Chinese: Jimmy's House (better than ANY of the Chinese restaurants in the area)

    Sushi: Amber, 381 Third Avenue

I think J East has better Chinese.

For sushi, the best for your money is New Ashiya on 1st and 11th - pretty sure they will deliver to where you are. SO GOOD. And cheap!

      Mexican - Paquito's on 3rd and 16th/17th - they deliver. FAST! YUM.

Los Dos Molinos (they don't deliver), Baoguette, Mexico Lindo (I prefer Los Dos, but Lindo delivers), Ali Baba Turkish Cuisine, Ethos, Wu Liang Ye, Grand Sichuan, Blue Smoke, Les Halles, Dhaba, Kalustyan's, Molly's, Almond, Lantern Thai, Flurt, Berrywild, Lamazou, Defonte's

Great list, and don't forget Latin Thing and Pamplona.

Oh, and of course, Curry Hill is quite close. And you're not too far from EMP, Tabla, etc.

Thanks Kathryn. Haven't heard of "Latin Thing," is it new?

My coworkers turned me onto it; it looks like a bad steam table buffet joint at first.
