Suggestions for near the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, WI

I'm going into Milwaukee tonight for the Wilco concert at the Pabst Theater and was curious if anyone had any dining suggestions nearby the theater?

  1. I don't know what kind of food or atmosphere you are looking for but I enjoy Tutto on Old World 3rd. It's an Italian sports bar which sounds weird but the only thing sporty about it is the TVs. The have great appetizers and small plates to share in a trendy atmosphere.

A couple places in the 3rd Ward worth checking out are Swig (tapas restaurant with great martinis - try the beef tenderloin crostini!) and Water Buffalo (I only order the black bean burger because it's so good I can't imagine loving any other food more!)

All are pretty trendy decor and reasonably priced with a variety of things on the menus!

I'm pretty open - just something close and not too expensive.

    2. I think Tutto is closed? I thought I saw a sign when I was going past to go to the Spice House.

There are tons of places nearby. North on Water St. there's a bunch, Milwaukee St. has quite a few, also on Wells (Pabst is on Wells and Water) east of there. If you try a search on the locations, you'll find quite a few comments I think.

As you've probably figured out, I don't think that most of them are that great. Might try Eagan's I had a couple good meals there. But don't know if it's too pricey.
