Kid Friendly Dinner

spineguy Apr 14, 2009 09:52 PM

Going to the City to see "Wicked" this Saturday afternoon and I need some help on dinner ideas that are kid friendly. Originally I wanted to go to Zuni Cafe, but after looking at the menu, it doesn't work for my 8 year old daughter. Any ideas of restaurants in San Francisco that can appeal to parents who enjoy good food and kids that like simple foods?

I feel for you. My son is such a picky eater. Especially when he was that age. Oi.

So she won't go for splitting the Zuni roast chicken? Simple comfort food? But i understand.

What /will/ work? Pizza? Grilled meats? Any seafood, like fish & chips? Mexican?

I thought about the roast chicken, but the hour preparation time turned me off after a long day, and a drive back to Sacramento after dinner. Grilled meats are good, thought of Espetus, no Mexican, Pizza is good. Thought of Tommy's Joynt actually as an easy option. Haven't been in years though

You could probably ask for pasta tossed with butter for your daughter; my younger doesn't like tomato based pastas (he JUST started eating cheese pizza this year!)
