        <content>I have postyed my problems in this thread on updayes http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/604782?tag=boards;topic-604782 but I feel that it is lost getting lost in the long thread - any progress on fixing the refresh of data when doing a search not showing current data - it can be anywhere form 1-4 days old</content>

if there is a more appropriate and newer topic please link....

The 'New' Search engine is WAY too picky.

- It will not find close word matches if non-alphanumeric characters are missing or extra.
Example: searching for Hugos Tacos will Not find Hugo's Taco's  

- The city name must be Exact, not nearby. In Annexville a.k.a. Los Angeles city this is a nightmare. 
Example: searching for an existing place by Los Angeles will not find a place coded as Studio City, Van Nuys, San Pedro, or any other of the numerous communities within city limits.  

ARGGHH!

      <content>Yes the indexing delays are BACK! - doing a simple search have tried the same search 3 days in the row and when switching to newest first the same results are displayed - the search was looking for the word kosher - </content>
