places to stay and eat in Washington State

I am planning a vacation for late July -- a couple of days in Seattle, backpacking on the cascade crest trail and probably also some time on the Olympic Penninsula. I have found some great places to stay and eat in the Northwest on past trips and am particularly interested in anything that would combine out of the way locations with great food anywhere in this area.
