        1. Hi,
Yes Leos is still very good. They have moved to Downtown OKC and are on 4th and Harrison. It is dark and smells way smokey but the Q is great. Don't miss the strawberry banana cake!

Boy, not much love for Leo's.....

I like Leo's.The original location at N.E. 36th and Kelley has been closed since August 07. They say it needs a new roof and the plan is to reopen it. Sure seems like a long time to replace a roof. The new Leo's is on N.E. 4th just east of Broadway and the old OPUBCO building and the new YMCA . It is a few blocks north of Bricktown. I like Leo's as much as any BBQ I have been to including Arthur Bryant's, LC's, and Gates in Kansas City and is right behind Smitty's in Lockhart, Texas. I usually get the Leo's Special which includes bologna, hot links, chopped beef, and ribs along with the tasty Strawberry Banana cake.

Thanks Bigray! Very good info, exactly what I wanted to know. I'll probably be in your neck of the woods in October...... I wonder if the original location will reopen by then? If not, the new location it shall be! Either way is fine by me.

I actually like the new location better than the original. It has more room. The original is really cramped to me. Same good BBQ.
