long beach dinning?

need suggestion for dinning in long beach. some place casual since we will have young kids with us....so places like 555 or skyroom is out.

I like Lucille's BBQ if you don't want to do carryout. I would go to Belmont Shore and if the wait for Lucille's is too long, try one of the Mediterranean places like George's, Sunnin, Magic Lamp, or Open Sesame (whichever one will let you in first). You could also just walk around for a bit until they can seat you.

In addition to Bubba Gump, there are a bunch of other chains around there...PF Changs &, Outback, etc. But I still say Belmont Shore.

You want casual? How about the Porky's take-out stand? Get your food and then deposit yourselves at one of the nearby parks, where the kids can eat, scream, and run around like crazy.

I'll add Enrique's for a kid friendly higher end sit down Mexican option.

I love Enrique's but the issue is one of wait time. Kid's don't do that well many times and Enrique's can be quite a wait most times. It all depends on how early you plan on going I suppose.

bouchees bistro on 4th and long beach blvd...its a burger and fries plate, with just enough "fanciness" for grown ups...they have both sliders and regular size burgers...and also have ahi tuna and turkey burgers to go along with the traditional beef...the cupcakes there are also pretty good from what i've heard...
