New Rochelle Deli corner of Weaver and Quaker Ridge
I have never been there. It looks interesting. Anybody have anything to say about it?

It's called Cherry Lawn and it originally was a farm - the condo's behind it is where they used to grow the produce. When I was a kid, it was a real treat to go there for the tomatoes and corn. It looks like they have expanded it to have seating, but I haven't been in a while. I agree it is expensive, but the quality of the produce is generally much better than at a grocery store.

The prices are astronomical. Boars Head Ham is $15/lb, a gallon of milk is $6. That being said, the sandwiches are interesting and tasty, the smoothies are great, good muffins too, but you may break the bank. I had to make myself stop going there after I picked up just a few things in between food shoppings to the tune of $75.

$$$$ if you want to spend alot, good place to go or you could just go up the street to balducci's and shake out your wallet, i live close to both and occasionally want to treat myself, but inevitably find high prices and nothing special about the food, even with the convenience, i can,t justify either place. in all fairness i very rarely even set foot into cherry lawn ,but can,t see anything special in it
