Wedding rehearsal dinner near Lexington

Hello all,

We are hoping to host a wedding rehearsal dinner for ~60-70 people in/near Lexington. Arlington, Belmont, Waltham, Concord, and Lincoln would all work. Know of any restaurants with great food and either a private room to rent out or a place that will allow you to rent the whole restaurant? We are hoping to be somewhere in the $30/person range.

Thanks!

Flora on Mass Ave in Arlington.

Probably out of your price range, but you might be able to negotiate, given the economy.

While I *really* hesitate to recommend it (based on its past history) perhaps the Cafe Escadrille in Burlington might work: http://www.cafeescadrille.com/ Otherwise, SummerWinter in the Burlington Marriott might be able to accommodate http://www.summerwinterrestaurant.com/index.cfm or perhaps Biagio Ristorante & Bar in Waltham? http://www.biagiowaltham.com/index.html (I'm not sure on price points on any of these)

There is the Hartwell House- although I have never been I hear it is suppose to be nice. Not sure if it can accommodate the size party you have. There is also the Colonial Inn in Concord Center. That place was very nice and I believe they could accommodate your crowd.

Waltham has that pretty hotel (Westin??) on 128 and the food there is good, that may be a better option and it is easy to get to right off 128.

Hartwell House is long gone, became Max Stein's which I understand just recently closed also.

            And the Hartwell House sucked!

I'm not sure they can come inside your budget, but try Dalya's in Bedford.

Summer-Winter in the Burlington Marriott might be an option. with small plate options, you might be able to get to the $30pp range.

Didn't hear about Max Stein's. No big loss IMO
Just googled, and I guess it's now Palio's Italian Grill, with tapas.

One of the owners is an owner of Vinny Testa's. No high expectations here.

info already supplied by someone else.
I don't know how to delete this altogether.
