Anyone been to Slate (gastro pub on 21st Street)
My fiance and I went about a month ago. We shared the BBQ pork spring rolls, sliders (a special), seared snapper and braised lamb shank; for dessert, I had the cheese plate, and he had the creme brulee. Everything was very good, except for the creme brulee. The BBQ spring rolls were especially delicious, nice and crunchy, tangy and smoky.
The space doesn't really have that pub look and feel to it, so it's hard to think of it as a gastropub really; but it is a nice restaurant. We plan to go back sometime.
