Greenville SC for Lunch
Will be in Greenville for the first time on Tuesday. We have a 7:30 p.m. flight so I'd like someplace for a late afternoon/early evening meal. Since I've never been, I thought we'd just explore the area and probably go downtown to check out the shops and restaurants. We'll have a car, so as long as it's not too far in the opposite direction to the airport, we don't mind a drive. Thanks in advance.
Two Chefs on Main Street is close to everything. It is next to the Weston Poinsett Hotel.
Also the Lazy Goat by the Hampton Inn is really close to the falls downtown and a really great walking bridge. I eat at the Lazy Goat every week. I like the location. Parking that time of day is very easy. It puts you near everything. I hope you like Greenville.
I know this is too late, but I thought I'd chime in anyway. I recently had lunch at Sky (Blue Ridge Brewery's new upscale restaurant next door) and had a pretty great experience, especially since the weather was fantastic. It's a nice spot to eat at one of the sidewalk tables. They've got some good-looking menu items too. My husband and I really enjoyed our steak sandwich, portobella sandwich, and potato salad laced with bacon. Next up is trying out dinner there.
