I've really enjoyed Sureno, in the new Opposite House hotel in Sanlitun. The Opposite House is boutique-y so it doesn't feel like a hotel. Also, Maison Boulud by the NYC chef Daniel is top-notch.

Thanks. Only made it to Sureno - great food and a great space. Knocked out my guests as well - did not think they were in Beijing.

Mosto also have very good food. It is in the Sanlitun area on the 3rd floor of Nali Patio, between The Village and 3.3 Mall.

if you're looking specifically for Italian, Sadler in the same complex as Boulud is probably the city's best. You can also check out Igosso at Worker's Stadium.
