Pie Delivery in Toronto?

I'm looking to suprise a friend with a pie on his birthday (he is a pie fiend). The problem is that I won't be in Toronto for the date and was wondering if anyone knows of any companies/bakeries that would deliver? (Or even a company who would pick up a pie and deliver) I know it's an unusual request, but any help is appreciated! Thanks chowhounders!

  1. I dont know of any pie delivery companies per se, but a regular courier company, like Stingray Couriers will pickup and deliver almost anything. so you could prepar for a pie from Pusaterris, for example, and then have it picked up and delivered.

    1. Not only will Charlottes Food deliver but their apple pie weighs a ton, chock full of apples and is made without sugar. Probably the best apple pie I've had other than one in Paris.
Charlotte's is in Markham on West Beaver Creek. They have other kinds of pies, too, including steak and kidney, quiches and blueberry to name just a few. I pick up pies whenever I get into the neighbourhood which is quite a distance from my home near Niagara Falls. If you're going to Google them, make sure you add Markham because there are other Charlotte's in other parts of the world.

      1. You might have to figure out the delivery part of the equation, but hands down the best pie ever is the legendary Coconut Cream Pie at Scaramouche. I have ordered a pie ($36... not a bad price for a piece of heaven!) and they are ready for pick up after 4:30pm. It is on the top of Toronto Life's '100 things you must eat before you die' and it is TOTALLY deserving of this acclaim!!!! Good luck!
