Alessi Toaster?

We've come into a gift certificate from Alessi, and are contemplating replacing our $20 toaster, which has some major technical difficulties. Has anyone used one of these? Any thoughts?

    The bun warmer will come in handy on those cold winter nights :-)
    Actually, it is quite attractive. I could not find the price though. Expensive?

      It's about $150, which is within the amount of our gift certificate.

        Love, love, love Alessi. Their stores are like one big candy store for me. We contemplated buying the toaster a year or so ago when it was introduced. It is gorgeous and when our Breville toaster goes (working great so far) the Alessi will be our next purchase. My husband uses their stove top expresso pot daily.
