Best Pizza slice - west 50s?

I'll be visiting NYC next week. Where can I go for the best slice of pizza around 58th and Central Park West?

I've worked in this neighborhood for over 30 years. I haven't been able to find a good slice since they closed the old Angelo's on 9th and 56th many moons ago. Sacco's is, at least, edible. Mariella's is terrible and (the new) Angelo's is merely poor. I'm desperate, if anyone knows of better options, please chime in.

Luigi's - 8th Ave between 54-55th always get a great slice there. Miss the original location which was a block away where the big hole in the ground is now :)

Hands down, this one goes to Mariella pizza at 8th ave and 57th. It's the best slice joint in mid-town. For what it's worth I'm pretty sure angelos (mentioned above) is a whole pie joint. Not sure about Sacco, but I head for Mariella any time I'm in mid-town and need a slice.

You're correct about Angelo's: while it's one of the best whole-pie shops around, it doesn't do slices.
