Former pastry chef at Craft Bar?

My friend and I were trying to figure out the name of the old pastry chef at Craft Bar...she made this apple turnover dessert--apple slices breaded and seasoned with cinnamon and sugar deep fried and served with mascarpone cheese. I would love to eat some of that asap and am wondering where in the world she is and if she's still making that.

    Do you mean Karen DeMasco? she's still with Craft, just at the flagship restaurant on East 19th Street.

      She used to oversee both Craftbar and Craft but I thought she left already?

        for some reason her bio is still on the Craft website...perhaps she stuck around as a consultant?

          I find restaurants are usually not inclined to quickly remove a famous chef's name from their site...
