Not sure you'll find a place thats convenient to the game thats not crazy busy. Halftime pizza right across the street from the garden has absolutely delicious pizza and it's not a "sports bar" in the traditional sense. It's a pizza and beer joint more along the lines of a sub shop. It will have a line on a game night but it goes very fast and it's well worth it. I can't take my kids to a garden event anymore without taking them there. They love it and so do I . With just 2 of you you should find a small table no problem.
