Chimay is a darn fine beer - especially the blue label - but it's probably below average when compared to the broad, glorious spectrum of Belgian brews as a whole. But, I think you'll find that Chimay is common at most halfway respectable beer joints, being one of the more common Belgians in the U.S. Good luck and godspeed in your quest! Just down the street from Commonhouse, Hawthorne's has it on tap. So do Revolution Pizza and the Pizza Peel. If you want to just buy it from a store, you can find it all over the place-- even Harris Teeter sells it. But if you prefer to go to a store that specializes in good beer, Common Market and Brawley's are two excellent options.
