  1. Depending on what part of Burbank and your definition of close there's Brownstone in Eagle Rock.

      I'm on the WB lot.

I would need to eat + return in <1 hour

    2. what about Joe Peeps on Magnolia at Whitsett?

Joe Peep's is probably the closest. North End Pizzeria in downtown Burbank is pretty good, but Joe Peep's is more NY style. Central Park Pizza at the batting cages is good, and not far from WB. A mile up Olive, turn left on Victory and pull over. CouponClipper usually has a coupon.

      2. I've never been to NY, but I like the sausage pizza at NYPD. It's on San Fernando Road in Burbank.

This is great pizza, but its not there anymore. Just there two nights back and it was empty.

This is like the phantom pizza joint... they have never been listed as being in Burbank on that website, although it is definitely the same place. Also, all their numbers that come up on Google do not work, now or before they moved. I just took a shot once and found them open, and great!

Does anyone know if they moved? I thought they were doing pretty well.

            AFAIK they've shuttered

        2. Not precisely NY style but Northend in central Burbank is not too bad.

          1. I second (or, er, third or fourth) JOE PEEPS in Valley Village

            1. You might try Angelino's Pizza Express on Lankershim just south of Moorpark, on the East side of the street. Order their thin crust. I'm from NY and, while this isn't quite Vito's, I like it. They have indoor tables as well as a patio.

              1. central park is the closest in Burbank, but Greco's is most like NY pizza. Greco's is in Sherman Oaks. They give you big slices but the toppings are a little thin.

                1. Pitfire Pizza on Lankershim and Magnolia in NoHo has great pie IMHO. Their cheese pizza witrh sausage is wonderful.
