My brother is a die hard Ranger fan and his birthday was yesterday. I managed to score some prime tickets to the Ranger game today, and will be taking him, his wife, and lady friend of mine to the Garden. Afterwards, though, I have no idea what to do. I don't want anything crazy, because it can't be TOO late a night, as three out of the four of us have work on Friday. I would like to try to keep the night under $200/couple, obviously not including the game tickets and train/subway costs. His wife suggested McSorley's, but I'm not sure about that. Do they serve good food, or is it the usual pub fare? The girl that I am taking will have come straight to the game from work, and may want something a little more substantial that a Garden hot dog and a few beers. Any suggestions?

McSorley's is a beer pub in the EV. Like nearby Burp Castle it's not a place you go for food. There are some ethnic eating places near by like Ukrainian National Home. If you really want to go to McSorley's you might want to do a search of this Board for EV to find nearby dining options.
