Dinner near Eureka Theatre?

Looking for a place for dinner near the Eureka Theatre (215 Jackson). I would go to Square One or Ciao, but they are long, long gone! Not a fan of Kokari and would rather not go to MacArthur Park. Suggestions for anything else within walking distance would be appreciated. I would prefer not to eat Thai or sushi, but all other cuisines will be considered. A place with really good desserts would be a plus but is not required.

Bix is nearby. Good drinks, solid food.

The House is also within walking distance, has excellent food (Asian fusion, but nothing weird), and has really good desserts.

Globe is around the corner. I don't remember the desserts but everything else is usually very good, the mussels are good, steak for two and osso boco. Also open late.
