Bridal Shower for 70+ in Brooklyn
Hi. I am trying to plan a bridal shower for about 70-75 guests in Brooklyn, but I am not from the area so I am not even sure where to start. It will be in August so I need a place indoors.
The Groom told me to stick with these neighborhoods - Marine Park, Sheepshead Bay, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, and Park Slope
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I think my head might explode from the stress of not having a place picked out yet.
THANKS!!

..You might want to check out the Greenhouse Cafe. I've been to a couple of Bridal Showers there and they were well managed. very appropriate for wide spectrum age groups, something that is often a consideration. Very nice neighborhood. I haven't read their web site but I'll send it to you FYI.

You would have to almost take an entire restaurant -
I had a pre-wedding dinner for 25 at a Chinese Restaurant on
18th Ave and 62nd St. - was well pleased - cost over $1K
see here http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/6069...Michaels on Ave R and Nostrand is a good quality Italian Restaurant. - they
might be able to manage it.›1 Reply -
http://www.tavernondean.net/ They have a really party room! Bacchus on Atlantic Avenue has a tented garden. I had my meet and greet at Pete's Downtown in Dumbo... Which was awesome and normally has a great view, except it was very very foggy. The staff there was very helpful. and patient with the insanity that is my family. It is kind of touristy which is why I chose it. Most of my guests were not from Brooklyn and had never even been here before.
Good Luck!

How much are you looking to spend? You could do very well to pick Tempo in Park Slope and call it a day, if it fits in your budget. Many of us think it's one of the best (or in the top small handful of) restaurants in Brooklyn, and they do a great job of dealing with groups.
