Lafayette Area Restaurants/Bars

I'm posting this for a friend of mine who is visiting the Lafayette/Acadiana area with her mother over the weekend. They have lots of plans and included is a late lunch at Prejean's. They are seeking a casual place to have drinks and appetizers (something light considering the late meal at Prejean's) that evening. They prefer a local's vibe, but are open to almost anything.

Any suggestions?

I think either of the last two suggestions are good in their own right.

Pamplona is very good and a cool atmosphere, with excellent sangria and a wide selection of small bites.

Don's would have some of the more traditional items, but some great apps include the catfish bites, seafood fried rice and crab claws to accompany VERY tasty Old Fashioneds.

Don's Seafood Hut on Johnston Street. Great bar, the locals love it, good seafood apps, and the best bartenders in town in my opinion.
