Great fast-food burger fix at Jetsun's Juicyburger

OK, so it's not as good as MY homemade burger, but it was pretty darn good.

Thick, juicy, meaty, flavourful pattie. Fresh toppings. Fresh "homemade style" onions rings (I can't guarantee that they are homemade, but they tasted great). Friendly service.

Definitely my go-to from now on for burgers in Scarborough.

Like the others, I've found it WAY below par. Dry, flavourless, and really poor/unfresh toppings. Stale bun on my visit as well. Never, ever will I return.

As far as *fast-food* goes, I'm sticking with Harvey's... for FAST-FOOD. That is not to say I view it as a great, or even good representation of what I truly delicious burger should be.

Everything I've heard says everythings frozen..

I tried it once. While I was there they asked me a trivia question which I got right. They gave me a free burger combo. I never used it. That right there should tell you something.

Just think Lick's only worse. That was my visit anyway.

Perhaps there have been changes, but I tried this place a couple of times many months ago. Burgers were typical dry, overcooked hockey pucks. Onion rings were straight from the freezer.

          Any more reports out there?

I think it's fairly hit-or-miss. My last visit was disappointing - dry, yet still greasy. But the other two times I've been, it was as SG describes - a darn good burger, juices running down my arm, with a spot of pink left in the middle. I believe (although I'm not sure) that those good times the owner was in the house, which might explain the difference in quality. Can't comment on the onion rings, but the poutine is okay. It uses real curds, which sometimes have some squeak to them, but the gravy is a little too salty, even for me.
