about parchment paper
I'm trying to help from someone here so I can contact the manufacturer of a brand of unbleached parchment paper. I want to find out what stores in the Boston area carry this paper.
This parchment paper is unbleached, and comes on a roll in a very ordinary green and brown cardboard box, typical of the boxes used for waxed paper, alum. foil, etc. .
Here in the Boston area, all the stores now carry more expensive brands. Not only are these brands more expensive, they're not nearly as good as the plain old ordinary stuff.
Tnx in advance to anyone who can help.

Is it this kind? http://www.eco-local.org/img-00000516...
I buy it at Stop and Shop. But for whatever reason it's not with the other PP and foil and plastic wrap. It's somewhere else in the store. I am pretty sure with the "natural" "organic" products.
I've also seen it at Roche Bros.

I think I have the same stuff. Doesn't appear to have a name. "environment friendly products-if you care" Product of Finland.
www.ifyoucare.com maybe that will help. adam›1 Reply-
re: adamshoe
I get the If You Care brand from amazon.com. I think you get 4 rolls per box, so it's only useful if you will use that much (we use it all the time; it can even be reused depending on what you're doing with it).
I'm in Boston, and I don't usually see it in the grocery stores we frequent.
