Frankfurt- airport or train station good eats?

ciaotuffy Apr 7, 2009 03:55 PM

We'll have a 6 hr layover at Frankfurt airport. I was wondering if there's anything good to eat/do at the airport or if there's anything good near the train station. We have 2 kids with us so don't want to venture too far and miss our flight, but I was wondering if there's anything worthwhile that we should train into the city for.
Thanks for any suggestions.

There's a really good Thai place near the train station (5 min. tops) called, I think, Thai Prince or something like that. Spicy goodness. Not sure if that's a kid thing.

It's been a while since I was at the Frankfurt airport. It is pretty large and has a lot of shops. The train station (Hauptbahnhof) in Frankfurt is a short ride away and has a gritty food court. I fondly remember eating roasted potatoes there. There are a few Imbisses where you can get a sausage and a beer.
