Planning a girls only long weekend from Beaumont. Would appreciate any comments and/or suggestions.

Saturday, April 18

  1. I see you have done your homework. A couple of weeks ago the Ponchatoula Berrytown had no strawberries. Last weekend they were $20 a flat in Hammond at Berrytown. I am anxiously awaiting the supply of Liuzza Farms creole grape tomatoes AKA crack tomatoes. I'm addicted. If you see them give 'em a try. Have fun! Oh and I'm being told the only bread pudding currently at Middendorf's is banana - no peach.

    1. I agree, there is really not much to add! I would pick up a couple bottles of Chef John Jambalaya's Nottoway (Plantation) Dressing and Marinade while there, it comes in handy for many dishes!
