I'm looking for a casual, inexpensive place for lunch (on a Saturday) with my sister and 11-year-old nephew. Thanks.

2 suggestions...within 1/8 block of one another, both perfect for your sis and nephew, and both so casual that they don't feel the need to have a website (GRR):

    Nicky's Firehouse (pizza/Italian food)
    Central Ave
    Madison

David's Rumba Cafe (search for it on this board for details) for Latin food; everything from burritos to plantains to firecracker calamari
    6 Elmer St
    Madison
    (973) 520-8160

Parking is available on the street or in the muni lot right behind Firehouse, and when you park in that lot, Rumba Cafe is across Elmer St.

      Additional Suggestions:

      Poor Herbies
      13 Waverly Place
      Madison NJ

      Serves up good burgers.

54 Main (formally main streets cafe) used to be very good for a casual meal but I have not been there since it was renovated.
