Good food near the ACC

Hi Chowhound! I'm going to a game at the ACC tonight and would like some recommendations on decent food around there. We're looking for something mid-range where we can be in and out in about an hour. Something better than the substandard pub food that I tend to go for most of the time in that area. We're not too picky on cuisine, as long as there are some veg. options.

Take Sushi, on Front just west of Yonge
Benihana teppanyaki, in the Royal York

(Was also going to suggest Biff's Bistro but their veg options are very limited)

I'd go with Take Sushi, Benihana is mad expensive!

FOUR restaurant at Wellington and Bay (below Far Niente) has some decent food. Their service is fast, just let them know you are going to the game. You can make a resy at opentable I think.

the Irish pub right beside the Spaghetti Factory on Esplanade has excellent burgers and fries. probably one of the better burgers in this city.

Which one are you talking about? The pub right next to the Spaghetti Factory is Scotland Yard. 2 pubs over (with Bier Markt inbetween) is a Fionn MacCool's. Either way, both have the type of substandard pub food that kweenshaker was trying to avoid.

For pubs in the area, Irish Embassy (Yonge/Wellington) & C'est What (Front/Church) both have better food.
