Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Rec for Fashion District

Some family friends of mine will be visiting NYC in the coming weeks, they' really won't have much time when they're not working however they will be spending sometime shopping in the fashion district. As such I'm looking for some good yet cheap eats in the fashion district, no real requirements, just good and simple lunch/dinner chow.

    1. there are some great, unassuming, inexpensive Korean restaurants in the West 30's - try searching the board for recs.

        1. -Szechuan Gourmet for Chinese
-Olympic Pita for great falafel on laffa bread (stuffed with french fries) and other kosher eats
-Very good pizza and eggplant parms at Lazzara's
-Pain Quotidien for a lighter meal (it's a chain but actually pretty good for what it is)
-The Australian for burgers and meat pies

            1. While I'm all for falafel, korean, and meat pies, are there any good and inexpensive contemporary places? I'm just looking for a good mix of all possible options in order to make sure that there's something they enjoy whether it may be falafel, korean cuisine, or a greasy burger with fries and a beer

Lugo Caffe is another option. Can you help us with some blocks/avenues you'd like to stay within? Thanks.

Honestly I'm really not sure since I'm not going on the trip, if I had to guess I'd say at the very least they'd be somewhere around Mood Fabrics.
