Easter brunch south side E'ton

I am racking my brain trying to come up with somewhere that would have a decent brunch on the south side for Easter Sunday. All I can think of is the various hotels around Whitemud. Any thoughts?

There's also the Sawmill. I'm not crazy about it, but I know my in-laws think it's fabulous.

It sounds like you are looking for something middle of the road, a good breakfast buffet that will please everybody. Best bets are the Coast Terrace and the Greenwood Inn on Gateway Boulevard and 44th. If you want to go further south there is always the Royal Exec Inn in Leduc.

For A la carte you have more choices, Murrietta and Upper Crust are two places that come to mind as having good food and nice rooms that can accomodate a family group comfortably ( Murrieta has a private room for up to 30 people)

If you are up to it , Golden Rice Bowl offers competent dim sum in nice surroundings. Reservations recommended.

By the Whitemud, or are you willing to come further north (but still on the south side)?

it is not me that is stipulating. family joining us from Sherwood Park and others leaving right from there to Calgary, so I am not sure (most likely whitemud south). what are you thinking?

Well Culina is a better place for food, if small for a large group, and is further north.

A friend was looking for brunch places around the Whitemud area and ended up at Milestones all the time.

Unless you wanted to do dim sum, I think you're limited to hotels and chains.

Culina is always great, not what this group is looking for.

i have a friend who was telling me that the Milestones Brunch is actually really good. maybe we will end up there.

I was not hopeful that there was much for options.
