Delivery to 90064 (Cheviot Hills)?

Hi Chowhounds,

I'm housebound and STARVING for good delivery to my area (in a little neighborhood just south of Pico, near Motor).

Thus far, we order from UGO's, Johnny's NY Pizza, and a really mediocre Thai place in Culver City - uh, I think its called Thai Dishes or something like that. And finally, the VEGAN joint.

I find Hu's Schechuan inedible.

Any suggestions welcome!

Thank you thank you!

  1. When I lived in that area, I used to get deilvery from Ugo's, Mulberry Street Pizza and Fu's Palace for Chinese food.

I'm not a fan of delivery in general, but those were my standby's. I never found a decent Thai, Mexican or Indian Food delivery. I'm pretty convinced that this city just doesn't do delivery well.

    1. I don't know if Tuk Tuk Thai delivers or not, but if they do you would be in their area. Also some of the dishes that Thai Boom does (on Venice Blvd.) would make it a good place to try. They definitely deliver. The Coop gets recommended here for pizza (haven't tried it) by some hounds, but again you should call them re. delivery. Finally, during the week Victor Jr's in Culver City for pizza and sandwiches would be a good choice if they reach you on their delivery area.

Victor Jr's website says they are now open Saturdays. I wonder if the economy forced them to do that. I could never get over there during the week, but I'll have to see if the Sat is actually accurate and try them out.

      2. I second the Coop...it is cheap too.

Try Toki Wok for chinese...we were very impressed by the food and the price.

        1. What have you ordered from Hu's? They are by far my favorite westside Chinese, especially their kung pao chicken or shrimp and their twice-cooked pork or eggplant. I will admit that some of their stuff, the sweet n sour and chop suey, can be bad. But Hu's does spicy as well as anyplace on the westside, so maybe I just don't understand or agree with your tastes.

          1. Chilli Thai 10889 W Pico Blvd (310) 441-9443‎ has great Pad See Yu.
