Spice Up - new Indian restaurant - Chaska
I came across this Indian restaurant while I was messing around on Google.
I went there for lunch with 3 other people and also had dinner there with my wife.
I must say it's a pretty darn good Indian restaurant. I have tried some of the Indian restaurants in the western suburbs and have been disappointed for the most part because they are not very authentic.
This place seems like the real deal (at least the things I tried were good. I tried their Chicken tikka masala, Chicken vindaloo, lamb biriyani, nan, samosas and tandoori chicken) and what's more they have a full bar with great drink specials and happy hour from 4-6pm.
Here is their web site;

I urge the southwestern chow hounds to head over there sometime and spread the word.
There is also a new Mexican restaurant that opened in chaska which I'm hoping to try this weekend. The rumor has it that the owner used to work at MASA.

i actually went to this restaurant w my mom. i was shocked that the food was quite decent, quite a bit better than the lame indian offerings closer to downtown mpls. the palak paneer in particular was excellent. authentic whole spices in abundance throughout all of the dishes we ordered. though it has a limited menu, with interesting items (like fish & chips) aimed at the bar crowd, this is a good restaurant! in chaska! !!!

Good find rjayasuriya. I live close to Chaska and it's good to see we are getting some good new restaurants. Do you know anything else about the Mexican restaurant? Sounds intersesting. The only Mexican place in Chaska I am aware of is Chaska My Love. I am surprised there aren't more Mexican spots considering the large population there.
