Buenos Aires cheese?

I'm looking for a quality cheese store in Buenos Aires. Any suggestions?

  1. Hi there. I would say one of the best, most upmarket ones is Valenti (they've got a few branches). Here's the link to their website:

Also, another good but smaller chain (they also do food) is "Al Queso, Queso". Hope this helps.

I too really like Al Queso Queso. There are tons of cheese shops there and really they are all good.

    2. I'd concur - Valenti tends to have a great selection and has several locations. A little pricey, but, in this case, you do get what you pay for. There's a place called La Casa del Queso on Corrientes, roughly the 3700 block, that also has a great selection - I think totally domestic cheeses.
