Vincenzo's....Bonita Springs

We're heading down there this week and I know Mr. Grouper will suggest, at least once, that we should go to Vincenzo's for dinner. Has anyone been there since the new owners took over? It may sound funny, but I was always put off by the menu...they always seemed dirty to me.

throwback restaurant from the time there was only trailer parks in the area. waterside location, nothing else. Lots of places on Bonita Beach Rd. now. Wyld's, Crust get good comments here all the time and have websites so you can peruse the menus. They often are on Restaurant.com with discounts as well.

Thanks for your replies! I respect both of our opinions. We have a place across the street in Barefoot, and my husband has always liked the fact that we could walk there. Since we're coming down without our children he'll probably want to eat there as the kids hate it and I don't blame them. It's not my favorite at all, but I like to keep him happy. If I have to walk for my dinner I'll just keep going to Doc's for a big fat burger and then walk it off on the way home. I like Wyld's, but sure wish you could get a cocktail there. Haven't hit Angelina's yet and may have to put that off until next time.

I didn't know they had a new owner . I t hougt it was horrid.

I would recommend Angelina's, also in Bonita Springs for Italian. They have pastas as good as what I had in Italy and the rest of their food is terrific. Great wine list.
