Carolinas, Tristan, Oak Steakhouse in charleston - n menu recs

Going down to Charleston for two nights. Interested in Carolinas, Tristan, Oak Steakhouse for this trip. What can fellow chows recommend on the current menus. Heard a lot about the lobster mac & cheese at Oak. Good? Also,which places might be better for lunch vs. dinner vs. bar grazing?

The she crab soup at Tristan is not to be missed...modern take but surprisingly delicious. The osso bucco at Oak nearly brought tears to my eyes. I still haven't gotten over it.

I don't know if you have looked into it but, Cru Cafe is not only my favorite restaurant in Charleston, but one of my faves I have ever been to. Everything about the experience at Cru was perfect from start to finish. I am still thinking about the shrimp and grits special I had (in October). Please check it out if you have not already.

The most memorable item I've had at the Oak is their calamari (not fried). It's the best I've ever put in my mouth.
