Seeking Glatt Hall/Caterer for Wedding. Any Suggestions?

We're an average size crowd -- 350, 400 people. Need a low price. Hoping for a June date. Any ideas about pricing, quality. We would appreciate especially newish names of halls/caterers as we've been out of the loop a few years. Any place in Brooklyn, 5 boros, or nearby Jersey is fine.

  1. If you search 'Wedding' or 'Hall' in the 'Search This Board' box right above this thread, you'll get a bunch of different threads from the last year on this subject.

Two questions that are necessary to answer before people can help you specifically:

      1) What are you envisioning for the wedding? There are, for example, halls in Brooklyn that are the cheapest you'll find around here, but certainly don't allow mixed dancing and many don't allow mixed seating either. So what kind of a wedding we're talking is important.

      2) Can you define "a low price" a little bit more? (Exclude tax and tip, which won't be included but you should be aware will add about 30% to the price). Sometimes the people who come in here are thinking $100 per person as a low price (which it is, if your standard of comparison is really nice hotels with non-kosher in house caterers that are essentially making you pay double), other times the person is thinking $50 per couple (which may well restrict you to Brooklyn). With such a large range, it can be difficult to figure out just what you're looking for.

    2. you might try calling a caterer like Celebration by Mauzone (they can cater anywhere) who might be able to suggest a venue that would fit your requirements.
