I've only been for desert - they have (or had) cook-em-yourself-s'mores and chocolate martinis. Which ain't so bad.

After two separate incidents with rude staff I'm completely done here. The worst of it was when a bartender was verbally nasty to my 65 year old father.

LP is very average in my opinion. We order delivery from it occasionally -- they do have a splendid coconut cream pie -- but entrees are very average (to below average) and it certainly wouldn't be a place I sought out on a visit to SF. If your objective is finding something for your 7- and 9-year-olds, I would try Chow which is at the same price point. Chenery Park also has a kid's menu on either Monday or Tuesday night.

Thank you for your help. We loved Chow. My son had the small spaghetti and meatballs and my daughter had the childs hamburger. The childs burger looked like a full burger to me, nothing child about the serving, it was 6.95. My wife had the thai noodles, very good and spicy, I had the grilled 1/2 chicken it was boneless and came with the most amazing brussel sprouts. The chicken was perfect, crispy outside and juicy inside. I asked for mashed potatoes instead of sweet potatoes. It also had a great cranberry relish. It was a winning suggestion. Thank you.

So glad you enjoyed Chow -- I have a 4-year-old myself and he's quite a fan of their mashed potatoes. We haven't been in a couple of months -- but plan to go Thursday.

Used to be a whole lot better, not worth a special trip. Bar is good though. I agree on the Chenery Park recommendation, great place and good with kids. And, if you're from out of town, you will see a neighborhood you would never see otherwise. Actually true of a lot of locals too.
