Looking for Fresh Ontario Lamb Shoulder for Easter ??

Will travel anywhere in the GTA for the absolute best. I do not like Whole Foods as I have tried them before and it did not seem fresh.

Thanks Everyone

  1. Cumbrae's will have excellent Ontario lamb, but you should call ahead to get a shoulder.
    Same goes for Highland Farms

I 100% agree with the Cumbrae's recommendation. I bought a lamb shoulder from their Church Street location about three weeks ago and roasted it for a family dinner. Not only was the lamb delicious, the people at Cumbrae's were very helpful and totally professional. They'll tie it up for you and even throw in a few sprigs of rosemary. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

    2. Here a half a dozen other ideas in a very recent post on the subject.

      1. Try Fresh From the Farm on Donlands Ave. Don't know about the specific cut though so I suggest you contact them.

I just ordered a lamb shoulder from them a few days ago for Easter. I am not sure if they have lamb shoulders in store, or just by the order; however, if you're ordering over the Internet, as I did, it's on faith, as the cut of meat is sight unseen. Also, according to their website, you can order the lamb shoulder with the bones, or without.
