Where to find Chile de Arbol powder

Does anyone know where to find this unusually hard to find ingredient. I from Texas where it's plentiful and I love to use it in cocktails. The boards were initially no help so I decided to just start a thread. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks everyone! Found it at Big Buy Foods. What a place. Also had some delicious fish tacos from the "Siren del Mar" truck across the street. Great excursion cross town.

There are a bunch of mexican markets on Venice, between Overland and Sepulveda. You can definitely get it there.

And yeah, you're right around Surfas at that point, so you might as well go there!

I think Penzey's Spice Store has it.

Yep. Penzey's has it. They have stores in Torrence and Santa Monica. (Or, you can buy online: http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzey... .)

Check with Big Buy Foods (and if that's too far afield maybe swing by Surfas in Culver City to see if they have it).
